it was an overall good stay. the only thing that would be nice is if they had more parking..
"Great location, nice rooms"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
I could see the lake from my room, which is always nice :). The rooms are clean and comfortable. There's also a ski/bike storage area for free as well. MacDuff's Pub next door has great food and drinks. Would stay here again next time I'm in tahoe.

This place is so close to Heavenly that you can walk there in 5 minutes! The room was in good condition, the bed was comfortable, and they provided a simple bagel and oatmeal breakfast. Perfect for boarders/skiiers! The staff was really friendly and you can't beat the cost for this room! We definitely would stay here again!

Nice hotel. They have radiant heating system, which is perfect since it is completely silent. Hotel also has indoor hot tub and sauna, ideal for relaxation after long day of skiing.
"I would like to recommend this please."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 24, 2013
The place is good with the reasonable price. The location is perfect, close to The gondola, shopping and casinos which we can walk. But!!! the receptionist should be more friendly. I am Asian and it was the first time for me there. When I asked some question, she didn't answer well and didn't even smile to me. Be honest to say, i felt uncomfortable and disappointed with her. She should have more service mind. But anyway i still like this place.

"Perfect for the price"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
The hotel clerk was, I think the highlight of our stay. He was incredibly polite and helpful. He had upgraded our room and didn't seem to out out that we woke him at 12:30 in the evening to let us in. I told him I was worried I'd be cold at night and he gave us 5 extra comforters. He made sure we had a room next to the friends we were traveling with. The room was very clean, and the bathroom was large, with plenty of counter space for two people's things. A couple things I would change would be the bedside lighting (the bulbs were extremely bright energy saver bulbs, which meant that when one of us tried to stay up and read, we kept the other person awake--we solved this by throwing a dark sweater over the light to block it out a bit). I would also recommend putting plastic liner curtains in the bathroom so the water doesn't go all over the floor when we take a shower. We stopped here on our way up to Kirkwood, and we'll stop here again next time. It was a great value and breakfast was pretty good. The breakfast staff was also incredibly sweet and polite. Though, if you like strong coffee, bring your own (I always do). A wonderful and restful place to stay before a full day of skiing!
