Everything was the level of service you would expect.
"Outstanding service and comfort!!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 1, 2013
The employees were very friendly and always asked if we needed anything. The room was very clean and extremely quiet. They had a small shop for snacks, quick dinners and things you might have forgotten. We will defineitly stay here again when we are in this area!
"Good, basic hotel for long-ter or overnight stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 12, 2013
The room was basic but definitely adeqauate. It had all of the features of an extended-stay hotel with a kitchen and work area but is good for a one-night stay. Recommended if you need a basic place.
"Great Room Lay Out!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 7, 2012
My family stayed here only one night, we were in the area for a softball tournament. The hotel was priced very reasonably through hotels.com. Loved the layout and full size fridge, I would def stay here for a longer visit. I asked for sheets for the pull out at the desk because of a review I had read and they were brought right up but I later discovered they were in the closet as well. The little kitchen seemed well equipped and everthing was clean. The location is great with a shopping just a block away. Over all we really liked it.
"I stay here any time I'm in Sterling."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Aug 28, 2012
I always choose to stay here whenever I'm in Sterling. I do enjoy the convenient location, enlarge rooms, and the mini kitchen. I do have a minor complaint and a couple of constructive criticisms. My one complaint is that it smelled like someone had smoked in the bathroom despite it being a non-smoking room. My other criticisms are in regards to the front entrance. While Isappreciate the use of the available luggage racks, the front entrance Doris are not equipped with the automatic open button. Having to open the doors manually while also maneuvering the luggage rack is a struggle. For a handicapped customer doing so would be impossible. I'd suggest a door attendant to assist customers entering and exiting with luggage racks or handicapped. My other criticism is in regards to entering the hotel late at night. Customers are locked out and cannot gain entry even with the key card. They have to get the front desk attendant's attention and wait to be let it.

Candlewood Suites has been a reasonably priced place for a stop over as we travel to Europe or areas on the East Coast. The shuttle pick up and drop off was especially helpful on our 1 night stay in June.
