Miami Hotels

Had a room with an adjoining room and don't kow if it was because it was in the corner, but I felt that I was sharing with the guests in the adjoining room. The sound barrier was non-existent. Otherwise I was pleased with the quality of the accomodations and the service.

Big hotel - location Downtown, which, unless you're a business traveler with business nearby, isn't much to speak of. The building is a little tired, but the bed and bedding were great, internet access cost $10 which is a bit annoying - but overall, the room for the price was a perfectly good value. If you are into partying on the Brickell scene and are going to take a cab anyway, it's worth not spending more money for a Brickell hotel. If you're going to South Beach and this is all you can afford - you're going to pay the price in cab fare anyway so you might as well stay over there. Overall, a solid hotel at the right price.

From the window of the room the view of the port of Miami and Biscayne Bay was breathtaking. Room was very clean. People were very friendly and helpful. Would book again if taking a cruise out of Miami.

I can not believe it has been a year since I stayed with my family at the great hotel. We stayed at the club level last year and we were treated like royalty by the staff, especially Gene and Bonaldo, so we had to come back again this year. I think it will be a family tradition to stay at this hotel Club Level only that what the kids ask for in fact they were disappointed that we stayed at the Ritz the first three night of our short vacation and could not wait to go to the Epic. To top it of we had dinner at Zuma one of the best Japanese food you will ever taste, we thought Nobu where we ate two night before was good well Zuma is 10 times better. Overall Epic Miami is one of the best hotels in the USA.

I booked a one room one night stay the day before my stay. Price was very good. I read reviews that the rooms were either very decent or very bad. I called before check-in to make sure everything was on the up and up due to my late booking, as was informed I'd been upgraded because of overbooking. I suspect this was to get a guest into a newer room than for what they told me. Regardless, I got a two bedroom. Room/apt very nice and modern. Front desk helpful, pool nice, etc. No complaints. For the price, very good.

The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are beautiful but be prepared for extra charges. Aside from the room itself you're going to find yourself paying for a lot of "extras"...from the valet parking to the tips to the nice but expensive breakfast buffet. Also somewhat baffling is the lack of vending machines, so if you want to get a bottle of water at night you're going to end up paying $6 for a bottle from the room fridge. I'd stay there again but next time I'd be bringing beverages with and dining at nearby restaurants.

Ive been traveling back and forth to Miami because we are expanding. Looking for the right hotel for my employees to stay when they are down here. Very Close to the airport VERY CLOSE. Nice place nice price. Parking is expensive for a hotel and I'm from Chicago. Very surprised that I was charged for using the coffee machine in the room. No way was I going to use the cheap bottled water they were charging 3.50 for. The coffee was 3.50 and I made it. My wife would have loved the accomodations. Me I liked it. Buy me a cup a java next time I'm there.!!!

We selected this hotel because it was close to the port. We booked last minute around 5 pm on the same day but no problem with the check-in. The area is under constraction but it was not disturbing us. Tried to find places to eat but it is a bit far from Bayside to walk with children. However we found a great breakfast place close by on the same street. Kids enjoyed the pool area, overall we had a great time for a night.

Can't beat the price and location. Short stroll to the bay. Convenient to taxi and shopping. Two blocks from Cuban restaurants or starbucks. Great view of port from upper floors. Some rooms freshly painted some not. Linens are clean and servicable but not luxury by any means. Overall clean and reasonable for the amount of time spent there. Basic needs covered- not a luxe retreat.
