Nobody's going to confuse this place with the Ritz, but it is super-convenient, the rooms are decent-sized, and there are enough food options at the hotel and in the airport.
"Easy walk to Bayside Marketplace"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 24, 2013
Picked this hotle before leaving on a cruise out of the Port of Miami. We thought it would be a good idea to get a rental car to avoid taxi fees but when we got to the hotel we learned it was a bad choice. The parking for the hotel was reasonable (it was the same as all the others around), except you had to pay the price EVERY TIME you took you car out of the lot. I was a the strangest thing I had ever heard of. So this hotel is good if you are just looking for a plave to stay the night before a cruise. However no shuttle service was offered (airport or to port). The location of the hotel saved it for me because we were maybe a 5 minute walk to the huge market place with food. the pool area was nice, only it was chilly when we stayed so we didnt spend much time there. As other reviews said, the rooms/carpets were moist but it wasnt a huge deal.

"Quick overnight stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 23, 2013
I recently stayed at this hotel overnight in order to catch an international flight the next morning. The hotel is in a great location and convenient to the airport. The complementary shuttle service departed right on time. I have one complaint and one observation that may be useful. The only coffee in my room was decaf - a bit of a surprise when I got up very early for my international departure. The room was also noticeably noisy from all the jet traffic coming and going into MIA. I'm an easy sleeper so the noise didn't bother me. However, if you have problems sleeping with outside noise, you might want to take this into consideration when choosing this hotel. Other than the noise, the bed was very comfortable and I got a good night's sleep.

"Repeat Customers -- Another Great Stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 22, 2013
This was our second stay at the Mutinty and we were reminded again what a great place this is to stay. For us, traveling with small children, the Mutiny can't be beat with in-room washer dryer and a full kitchen with dishwasher. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The only downside to the Mutinty is the mandatory valet parking and outrageous daily fee. We would definitely stay here again though!
