  We had a couple problems with our room - TV and bathroom, but they were very prompt in fixing both, and gave us two days of free breakfasts for our troubles. The concierge was very helpful and friendly. Very nice breakfast. We were on the newer side of the hotel, so don't know what the other side was like. It was within walking distance of shops and restaurants.

  Usually I extensively read the reviews before I book a room, but I didn't have time to on this trip. I was very pleased with my stay at Comfort Suites. I really liked that the hotel was not directly on the main drag (though very easy to find). Additionally, the hotel staff was very friendly and it was an easy check in/check out process. All rooms open up from inside hallways, so there is much more of a secure feeling than being in a motel that opens up to the parking lot. Though I did not eat the buffet, I did see that they had bacon and eggs! I'll definitely stay here again!

  We were visiting UNCW and just needed a hotel for overnight and didn't want to pay for a more expensive hotel for such a short stay. I was very pleasantly surprised. The rooms were nice and clean. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was better than many continental breakfasts I have had. I felt very safe and secure. The location was great for us as well. We made a great decisioin and would stay there again.
