Was a decent place to stay. Stayed overnight for an early morning flight from Grand Rapids airport (5 mins away). Lots of restaurants close by, and felt safe.

We were in town for a college visit and didn't want to spend a fortune. The room was clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated. Breakfast was good - omelettes, sausage, waffles in addition to the typical pastries and cold foods. Staff was very friendly. The bathroom had a shower but no bathtub - that was fine for myself and my teen child, but might not be great for families with very small children (maybe a suite would have a tub?). I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the hotel for the price.

Stayed here as my daughter is going to GVSU. Much cheaper than anything else and our budget is TIGHT! Room was clean and well kept. Bed was very stiff- felt pretty new type stiff. Little rough on the back, but I am not used to a firm mattress. Pillows were comfy. Carpet clean, bedding clean, and clean bathroom. Breakfast comprised of cold cereal, yogurt, toaster waffles, apples, juice, coffee, packaged cinnamon rolls, and instant oatmeal. Fan in the bathroom was loud. Couldn't figure out how to make a fan work on the heater. Room was hot, but didn't try to find a thermostat or anything. Only time noise was a problem was when a neighboring room was coming in late and boisterous in the hall. Exercise room had a treadmill and 1 other piece of equipment in excellent repair. No frills, cheap stay, and I will go back next time I need to stay near the university.

Hotel over all was fine ..i will be staying there again next time in town ..very nice price for the location
