"Good breakfast, easy access to skiing/boarding"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights. We were basically satisfied; just don't expect much as far as hotel condition. Parking was adequate at the hotel's basement. Come weekend, we had to park outside at the side of the hotel. But thats okay. Room was clean, but the place was apparently being renovated. It is very outdated and everything looked old. Other than that, we got what we needed. The room has a fridge and microwave, so that's good. I enjoyed the breakfast coz the sausage patties were juicy! Plenty of choices, including waffles, bagels, muffins, diff types of cereal, yogurt, fruits, even oatmeal. It's pretty close to the village, where you'd take a gondola to go up to canyon lodge. It would be far to walk to it wearing ski or boarding boots, so good thing there's a bus that stops across the street from the hotel every 15 mins. There's a liquor store close by if you need something. And the little outlet plaza mammoth has is also walking distance. So overall, despite the hotel being old, we were satisfied.
"Good location, good value"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 22, 2013
For the rate, it's a good value compared to other choices. Recommended if it's only a couple of you and you just want a place to sleep.

"Great Place"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 21, 2012
I was really surprised how nice this place was, it was much better than I had expected especially since I booked it last minute. If I was to buy a place in Mammoth, this would be the place. It slept 7 very comfortably and had 3 full bathrooms. The view off the deck was amazing. I've stayed at several different places in Mammoth and this was by far the best. I never made it down to the hot tub so I can't comment on that. The place was very clean and well maintained. The carpet was really nice, however I can't figure out why the bathrooms were carpeted. I will stay in the place again.

The place is old and worn but I knew that,I was looking for an inexpensive place to stay. Service was great and so was the continental breakfast each morning. This place will undergo a complete remodel in April 2011.I can't wait to go back!
