"Thin walls"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
Was able to hear people beside and above us. Complained to desk staff. They were great and asked the other guests to lower their voices. No problems after that. Even moved us rooms the next night where there were fewer guests and less noise. Slept great!

Love the Candlewood Experience all the way around. It is my new favorite when I am in Wichita.

"Above average hotel at a decent price."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 22, 2013
This hotel has decent amenities, and for the area the price is decent for what you get. Its an extended stay type property with a full size fridge and a stove etc... Nice beds and great assortment of channels on the TV. If you have to be in town for a while, I would recommend this hotel.

"Great value for the money."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
Everything about this hotel was great. If you're looking for a Marriott property, keep looking, but this property was clean and comfortable. When all you need is a place to lay your head for the night, it's the best bang for the buck.
"My new favorite inexpensive but nice hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
This was my second stay at this hotel. Both times I got a good rate through hotel .com but I did book it late, after 9:00 p.m. so I don't know if the rates would be that good for an earlier reservation. Over all the hotel is great. If you are a non smoker and appreciate a clean air environment you will appreciate this hotel. If you are caught smoking in the building they WILL charge you a $100 fine and you do sign a paper acknowledging this at check in. The rooms are larger than an economy hotel I have stayed in in the past when I want an inexpensive stay. It is out of Wichita a very short distance, but the taxes are cheaper so the overall bill is cheaper. They had all of the amenities in the room that an expensive hotel I recently stayed in had, with perhaps the exception of a safe. The only negative was the broken lock on the door that allows you to crack open the door to see who was knocking. However the dead bolt did work so the room was secure. This is my new favorite hotel for inexpensive but nice stays.I plan on staying there a lot and I would highly recommend it.
"Good for the money."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
Staff is unfamiliar with area attractions and how to get to them. The pool was small which was a big bummer for the kids, but it did not matter much since it was TOO cold to swim in for very long. Cookies from 5-7 were not there the first night, again a bummer for the kids. Breakfast had a few issues.... biscuits were cold inside, sausage came about halfway through the 6-10 am time and they shut the room and locked the door each morning at 9:50. Most of this could be overlooked considering the cost of the stay, but the lack of towels was a huge issue for us. We only started out with three towels even though the room had two double beds and was booked for a family of four. Kids went swimming one night and we forgot to get new towels. At 6:30 the next morning we went to the front desk and asked if we could have more four more towels and we were told they were out, that kids had used them all up in the pool the night before. Two hours later they still did not have towels and said that they could not get any until houskeeping arrived. Would seem to me they could have gone into any unoccupied room and taken towels out. They did offer us new washcloths, but that was not too helpful.

Needed a break from work and my roommate, the price for the studio with queen was unbelievable. The tv was kinda old but oh well. I loved everything about my stay except the staff could use some smiles on the faces
