While the Travelodge is older, the staff was very helpful and friendly. It was walking distance to the beach and several great restaurants, including the popular Plaza Azteca. Definitely worth the price.

Bottom line is the hotel is low cost with ocean views. You will not be staying at a top of the line place. However, you will have a relatively clean (because the place is older, there are expected signs of wear & tear) place to sleep while you enjoy the beach!
