"Comfortable Atmosphere and Charming Decor"

This was a great hotel -- perfect size, felt quaint (not too commercialized). The rooms were clean and large, with a rustic decor. The continental breakfast was really good! The breakfast burritos were hot and tasted great! The Belgian Waffle maker was a hit as well! We are looking forward to our next visit to the Inn at Steamboat!
"Easy to find"

Fully accomodating for our family of five. Condo a little worn down, main bathroom grout on floor crumbling and walls and appliances dinged and scuffed from wear and tear. No tv in upstairs loft bedroom area and small, non-flatscreen tv in main sitting area. Overall, met our needs and probably worth the price, but not up to the standards of most facilities nowadays.
"A Pleasant Surprise!"

We truly enjoyed our stay here. We came up from Denver for a couple of days of skiing. We were expecting fairly ho-hum facilities given that it's a chain hotel, but were very pleasantly surprised. Check-in staff was very courteous and quick. Room was clean and comfortable. It took a few moments to get the hang of the thermostat, but didn't take long to get the temp we wanted. Just as other reviews have stated, however, the true gem of this hotel is the restaurant/bar. We bought the breakfast voucher and then chose to have dinner there our first night as well. Delicious fresh food at a great price and we didn't even have to get in the car! If you're planning on having dinner, make sure you call in a reservation, however. We waited for about 10 minutes before sitting on a Friday night. Still, it was worth it. Only complaint, there was no fan in the bathroom to help clear away steam after showering. Was more odd than anything else.

This was a wonderful hotel, the guest sevice people were outstanding. The only complint that I would have is the walls are thin so you can hear everything. The rooms were very nice and extremly comfortable, we had everything that we needed for a long weekend.
"It's the inside that really matters..."

I stayed for one night on 1/7/2013. Hotel was very easy to get to. Right outside of downtown Steamboat Springs. Outside look of hotel was very unpleasing but I had read that the rooms had recently been remodeled which it had. Had a very beautiful and clean room. Not a problem walking around bare footed as you would at other hotels. Inside the hotel, lobby, elevators, hallways, could use an update but it wasn't that bad. All that matter was the room. Would recommend and stay at Legacy Vacation Club again.
"Luxury for a good value"

The room was excellent once we opened the windows and let the cool air in (we were on a top floor, with a roof, not a ceiling). The 2 bedroom could comfortably have 7 people. The location was good, downtown just 10 minutes drive. The room had excellent facilities except for a fridge which occasionally made a slight noise (not a big deal at all). This was an off season stay (summer) so it was relatively affordable.
