  Was there for daughter's swearing in to NY Bar. Location was great, about 5 to 10 minute walk to Empire State Plaza. Very disappointed in the rate I paid for a hotel in such disarray due to renovations. The lobby area was a mess. No bathrooms on lobby level, had to go down to basement level to access a rest room. Often, only 1 elevator was working. Nightly rate should have been 1/2 of what I paid based on the renovations. Room was excellent, having been newly renovated. Once renovations are done, this will be a great place to stay for visiting Albany.

  Many other hotel chains in the area but this one consistently has the most affordable prices. You get what you pay for. Its relatively clean, safe, quiet and has an on-site work out room. Great value indeed!

  had never stayed at this hotel before but it proved to be very adequate for the price..the hotel was only about one-tenth occupied on this occassion and the management had grouped all guests into one area which sometimes can lead to problems with noise but in this case did not..aside from some minor housekeeping and maintenance like a soiled sofa and towel racks that needed extra attention to cleaning, the only real concern was a noisy heating unit that barely maintained a comfortable temperature..thankfully the bed was very comfortable with firm pillows and warm covers and the room was overall well cleaned..

  I loved it! The Days Inn is in the perfect area surrounded by everything! The staff was very friendly. There is an indoor pool and hot tub on the premises. Free breakfast is available. My room was cozy. I would go again!
