We had two conncecting rooms and in both bathrooms the showers were cloaged. Great location, but staff was not too friendly.Busy lobby with lots of people checking in and out at all times. As guests of the hotel we did not have any priority when it came time to make reservations at the famous Normas for breakfast--which was one of the reasons we decided to stay there.

Great stay. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and quiet. We had a great rate and an extended check out time. Even though we had a reduced rate we were still treated well. A definite recommendation to stay a the W.

The hotel is great, staff fantastic but the airhandler in the room was like a helicopter over my room all night and it never shut off since it was a very cold night. Other than that it ws a great stay. The concierge was wonderful.

Stayed for six nights in a City View Suite, which with two full bathrooms is more like a full fledged apartment. Great view of Central park and surroundings. Wonderful service. Club Lounge needs minor service tweaking but they try very hard. This was my best stay at a New York Hotel. I highly recommend it and will return often.
