"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.
"New York City Rocks"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The Sheraton New York was a pleasant surprise. The location was central to everything I had planned. The room was clean and a decent size, for New York standards. The staff was pleasant. I had an issue with a guest smoking in a non-smoking environment and the staff offered to move me, which I totally appreciated. I would recommend the Sheraton, New York towers. It is VERY pricey, but then everything in NYC is.

Great room service and great rooms.
"A hotel without dinner accommodations"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
The room was appropriate and generally comfortable, with large-size drawers for personal items, and met expectations except the web site indicates that coffee and tea is available in the room. No more. The desk indicated that the hotel was in the process of removing all the coffee-tea makers from rooms. The hotel does not have a restaurant open to serve dinner and the Starbuck's Cafe attached stops serving at 5:30. The bar was open but not adequate for a guest wishing to have dinner. One is told to go to 7th Street to find a restaurant in the evening. There is room service, but I think guests expect to be able to go to a restaurant in the hotel.
