  Our room and the room my friends were staying in didn't have much hot water at all. Also, our shower would not work. Thankfully, we could use our friends in another room, but even then you only had about 5 minutes of hot water. Other than the shower everything was great. It was very conveniently located; everywhere we needed to go was very close.

  I appreciate that the hotel building was being remodeled, but the exterior condition of the building and the interior (except for the room) were not what we have come to expect from Holiday Inn. Also, as we noticed a tray of food on a table in the hallway near our room. When we checked out the next, day the tray and the food were still there. That was a first at a Holiday Inn. The interior of our room was clean and pleasant, however. The staff were friendly and helpful.

  I worked for Expedia for several years so I've seen the good bad and ugly. This is a nice decent stay hotel, clean and simple. Had a few minor issues with general maintenence but nothing major that caused me to regret my choice of booking. Great breakfast!! I'll stay again on my next trip to Shreveport.

  The Super 8 was a great hotel for us. I went with several friends to watch the Independence Bowl. It is a great location, only 2 miles from the Fairgrounds, and was very convenient. If you want luxury and glamour, this hotel is not for you, but if you just want a simple, standard hotel, this is the place for you. Very good for the cost!
