"Excellent experience all-around"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 22, 2013
Its a quaint inn with a historic feel throughout. Comfy beds. Very clean. The floors creak - I consider this charming, but some folks may not like it. Updated baths. Great continental breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy 10-minute walk to your choice of wharf, and less to Thames Street shopping. Easy access to the Bellevue Avenue mansions as well. Great value compared to the 'waterfront' hotels which were at least 40% more per night. I'd gladly stay here again.
"Very nice - would stay there again"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
My husband and I enjoyed this hotel very much. It was clean and convenient to everything we wanted to do. Can't think of anything that was an issue. We will definitely stay there again when we want to do Newport in the warmer weather.

This was our first time at a bed and breakfast and we have to say that this was the best get away that we have ever had. Cindy the inn keeper was amazing and made us feel that it was our home. She would go out of her way for anything. I would HIGHLY recommend this to everybody. A beautiful place with fantastic hospitality, who wouldn't want to stay here? We loved every bit of it and definitely will be back!!!! Thank you Bayberry Inn of Newport and Thank you Cindy for making our romantic stay amazing. See you soon.

Very friendly staff, breath-taking views, convenient location, very comfortable beds and great shower! The walls are thin, and my one complaint is that we had to pay a $20 resort fee in Feb., basically for internet access, parking and two bottles of water. But since we got a great price on the room, overall it was a very pleasant stay.

Our room was really nice. Just need to update the beds, and head boards, because they were outdated and the headboard bounced against the wall every time you move making an annoying noise. Room was clean, free breakfast was above average for a continental breakfast. Location was perfect.
