"Fabulous setting"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
Too short. The setting: trees, mountains, amenities rivals any other places we have stayed in.
"Great location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
This hotel is located a short walk from all the action but is far enough to be quiet, there was also plenty parking. The pool area was well kept and the rooms and breakfast were about what you would expect for the price you are paying. We had no problems with cleanliness, our only issue was the motion sensors causing the bathroom lights to switch off when my husband was in the shower!
"Very clean and normal. Nice staff."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 19, 2013
I didnt have high expectations because of the price compared to other hotels. But it was very nice and the staff was nice. We were just there to sleep so it was perfect. The walls were very thin though and the continental breakfast was sparse. Plan on going elsewhere for anything substantial to eat. Also needs more outlets!
"As Expected"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 13, 2013
Not really sure why all the bad reviews. For the price paid for the room I feel it met my expectations. It was clean and the staff were pleasant. Our stay was during a weekend-long cheerleading competition, this room served it's purpose and it was nice not having to spend hundreds of dollars to stay at a resort. My daughter enjoyed the pool! Will book this hotel again.

"Fun in the Sun"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 15, 2013
The Royal Sun is a very nice place to stay for the money and close to a lot of things. Palm Springs is not like any other town I've been in, it has it's own character. We took the Tram Ride and went to the Air Museum, both were lots of fun. We found a Casino, an Indian Casino, lots of choices, but like all casinos, very tight.
"Nice short stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Oct 4, 2012
Initially, I wasn't impressed. This complex is really, really outdated and the furniture is old, and, way too much. Big huge pieces of furniture and we had to keep moving the dining furniture just to open the door. The upside, tons of pillows and the condo was very roomy. We loved the outside patio and the complex is extremely quiet, a welcome relief from LA. The staff was wonderful and so after settling in, we enjoyed our stay. The kids were in the pool the entire day.
