We walked to the square and galleries. Uncommonly good continental breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. A nice little weekend getaway.

As a AAA 4-diamond hotel, I expected La Posada to look a little prettier, but I suppose it goes with the New Mexico aesthetic. I thought my room could've used a new coat of paint. I noticed the cracks in the tile grouting of the bathroom. And it bothered me that the housekeeper didn't vacuum up little pieces of lint. The valets are extremely helpful and gracious. There is a complimentary shuttle, up to 2 mile radius. The spa is heavenly. The workout room is small, but has what you need. C.O. Bigelow toiletries. Flat screen tv. HBO is included. Free parking. Beautiful artwork in the hotel lobby and library area. Take advantage of the free activities: yoga on weekends, smores and hot cocoa, lectures.
