PROS: Property was very pretty. The room was nice, with balcony, nice shower, quality mattress. We did not realize the casino is dry, so spent more time in the room enjoying a cocktail than at other casinos. Food was pretty good and the sports bar had a good ambiance. CONS: the WORST housekeeping I've ever experienced in a hotel. When we checked in Sat a.m., the prior guest's discarded room service tray, with a lot of food on it, was outside the door. It was still there when we checked out on Monday afternoon. On Sunday, the housekeeper didn't come until 5 p.m. I had asked for 2 extra bath towels (for total of 4) and two robes. The housekeeper took the robes (??) and only stocked 2 new towels. She did not restock any of the toiletries (shampoo and conditioner were totally used up) or coffee or tea. Also, the grand staircase in the lobby had the same bloody bandaid in the middle of it during my entire stay. Other major con: I chose this hotel in part for the indoor pool and hottub, since it was not outdoor pool season. What looks online like a tranquil place to relax is a mob of screaming children. The hotel really needs to implement a few adults only hours at the end of the night. Even at 11 p.m. it was rendered unusable roughhousing teenagers and screaming young kids.

Excellent choice near downtown Santa Fe. Easy drive into the Plaza area. Less expensive than the high end hotels near the Plaza but just as nice. All the modern conveniences within an historical setting. Pueblo style architecture and lots of New Mexico decor made it a special place. Good restaurants nearby. Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. They have special large rooms with kitchens for families or bigger groups. Free WiFi was strong. Will stay here again.

Very close to the city center, 10-15 min walk. They have a shuttle service as well, but the walk was really short. Great Breakfast, the wifi was a little shaky but I have seen worse. I would stay again for sure, its nice to have an easy time not having to drive home especially when you want to visit Marbles tap room at the plaza :-)
