"Good deal"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
This is a decent hotel in a good location and was great for the price. The shuttle to the metro was exactly on time and useful, particularly later at night. A 10 minute walk gets you to the pentagon city mall, all the pentagon row restaurants and about 15 minutes of walking will get you to the metro through the mall. The neighborhood looks a little rough because of construction at the old Pentagon annex but its very safe- I have lived very close to the hotel and will vouch for this. It is an easy walk to the Air Force memorial and the 911 memorial at the Pentagon but almost anything else you want to see you will have to take the metro. The rooms were clean, comfy and the staff was cordial. There is no valet but the self park is easy and fast. No free breakfast offered but Bob and Edith's diner is only about 5 blocks up the road and is a decent alternative for little $ if you don't want the rather spendy room service.

We enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Crystal City. The facility and the people were great. The breakfasts at the Starbucks like cafe were particularly nice. The only things that were slightly off-putting were that the walk back from the Metro after the last shuttle bus (at 11 pm) was a little dodgy and the lack of a place to get a Washington Post.
"Close to NSF"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 25, 2013
Not a top-notch place but good deal for the price. It was clean, comfy, had a (sort of) continental breakfast, was walking distance from where I needed to go, and the Internet worked, so that added up to a good stay! Only downsides was the walls are thin and staff & other guests can be kind of loud. I always travel with earplugs, luckily.
