  Overall our stay was good. The room was nice, and for the most part the service was good.

  A very comfortable well organised hotel. Only downside was the $10 in room for 24 hour charge for wifi. Having to go to the lobby for free internet access was a real drag. Other than that it was fine.

  We stayed at theTremont for a quick weekend shopping trip. Location is great - just 1 - 2 blocks from Bloomingdales and Water Tower, and a short walk to Nordstrom. Rooms are small and furniture shows it''s age, but very clean and bathrooms seem more recently updated. It was quiet and beds were comfortable! There is a lovely seating area with fireplace in the lobby. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Don't miss Francesa's on Chestnut for great Italian food.

  Wonderful and very helpful concierge- went above and beyond. Our two queen room was small, but clean and comfortable. Bathroom door was sliding and didn't close all the way, so all bathroom noise was heard. Quite funny, but may be embarrassing for some. Nice lounge with fireplace in lobby. Valets were quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend, but it is not as fancy as some other in the Kimpton line. We have stayed in Chicago every year for the past twenty years to get away.

  My husband and I love everything about this place! Close to Michigan Avenue and walking distance to great restaurants and attractions! The hotel itself has a very nice restaurant as well and a great lounge with excellent staff!
