My family and I stayed here over night. It was perfect walking distance to down town or boardwalk. Ten mins either way. Rooms were clean and good sized. It was a bargain and would stay here again.

A good price for a great location and close to Santa Cruz Boardwalk and right next to Pier. Overall a good time and Friendly staff.

Great hotel with a surprisingly amazing location. My girlfriend and I reserved a room here because we were on a tight budget and we were shocked on how close the hotel was to the beach (roughly two blocks). Down the road leads right to the entrance of the boardwalk, and the movie theater and Wallgreens are about a 20 minute walk away. The hotel was clean and the continental breakfast was pretty good even though the orange juice tasted a little watered down. The pool and jacuzzi looked comfy (closed though because it was February). My only complaint is the parking lot. The entance/exit is so steep that our car bottomed out when we left, but with everything within walking distance you shouldn't need to leave the parking lot too often.

Considering this is a motel (not hotel), I was very impressed. Nothing fancy... Breakfast was muffins... But it is a motel, what do you expect?! Absolutely perfect size rooms, clean and airy, comfy beds and cable, a view from my room of the ocean, muffins and coffee for a snack breakfast, great service at the desk and absolutely the best shower pressure I have ever experienced. Considering the great price I paid, I was expecting a dump. We come to the beach about 10 times a year and I was very satisfied. And it only took my family of 4 (2 kids) about 3 minutes to walk to the boardwalk! Don't come expecting pancakes and free shampoo, this is a motel. But we had zero complaints.
