How to get to Pasadena

Alternatively, shuttles, buses, trains, and taxis can be used for your transfer to Pasadena’s downtown hotels, although no direct trains serve the city from the airport and it is necessary to change in Los Angeles, before taking the Gold Line of the Los Angeles Metro. Buses operated by Pasadena ARTS run on eight routes across Pasadena.

Old Pasadena is a lively tourist district, with shops and restaurants galore. A number of upmarket hotels, including the Courtyard by Marriott Old Pasadena are located in this part of the city. Nearby, in downtown Pasadena is Paseo Colorado, a large open-air shopping mall. The city’s most famous sporting venue, the Rose Bowl Stadium, also hosts a weekly flea market. Other well-known landmarks are NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and Caltech (California Institute of Technology). Los Angeles is a short distance away, and definitely worth a visit.

Stayed after a trip to LA, quick and easy drive. Great location right off of freeway. Front desk guy was great, offered to show different attractions on next visit, extremely friendly and helpful. Price was great and room was perfect, very comfy bed and great food in the morning. Very likely to stay again in the future.
