  If you are looking to live somewhere that is lively, accessible to all the tourist destination, and affordable, I definitely recommend Sheraton.

  Be careful of the double charging of your credit card for a deposit on check in. Also didn't get the bed size requested& room smelled stale, kind of smoky. View was great& hotel was nice.

  The hotel is great. The only problem is if you have a room on the street side, it is extremely noisy until the wee hours of the morning. But it's clean, has great service and is in a great location if you can handle the noise.

  My friend and I decided to go to San Francisco for a weekend of touristy sight seeing and we decided to stay at the stratford. We did not realize what a great location it was in. The cable cars run right in front of the hotel, which was really convenient. The rooms were very clean and the towels were nice and fluffy. Beds were not as comfortable as the Hilton or Marriott but still pretty good! Loved the oldness of the hotel, it was like going back in time. Elevator was a little slow.....oh well. Overall, very nice and great location!!

  We wanted to stay somewhere were it would break our pockets and this hotel was in a perfect location, 1.5 miles to the Warf and nightlife, neighborhood is not the best but its worth the pay, we had a fun time staying here and it felt safe in the hotel.
