"great spa, quiet neighborhood"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
This is my favorite place to stay in San Francisco. The Kabuki Springs Spa is one of the main reasons. Be sure to get a free pass to go there at the front desk, and make a reservation,as it gets busy on the weekends. It's a hidden treasure.

We liked that it was within walking distance of many sights Embarcadero, Voit tower, Little Italy, Chinatown, etc...
"Great Room on short notice"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
I needed a room on short notice and found this room on Hotels.com. The front desk staff was very nice and ended up giving me a 2 room suitevin the top floor. All amenities were great and the room was extrememly clean. It is right outside the Cable car turn around and Union Square. I would stay here again.
"Good downtown location & great customer service"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The hotel sits on the corner of Post & O'Farrell so you definitely get the "downtown SF" feel (including the questionable looking characters on the sidewalks of O'Farrell, but then Post is "nice.") I was greeted by a friendly Valet, which was a little pricey, but I would not have wanted to park at one of several lots near by for less. (Besides the Valet allows you to go in & out.) When we went to dinner the Valet hailed the taxi & even told my boyfriend our restaurant was only a few blocks (but he didn't want me to have to walk up the hill in my stilettos). The lobby was beautiful inside, a bit of a "historic" feel, good restaurants & night life nearby, there was a restaurant/bar connected to the lobby too. Our "Deluxe King" room was supposed to come with a complimentary wine reception that was not offered at check-in, though we arrived at 8:00pm, so maybe it was too late? I was not impressed about that, but otherwise the customer service was very friendly and accommodating at check-in & check-out. We brought a bottle of wine & there was a wine opener in the room (even available for purchase) along with other pricey minibar items, similar to Vegas. The room was very clean, upscale feel & cozy. The bathroom was small, but there were two small shelves near the sink where I was able to lay out my things. Room came with iPod docking player & hotel offered complimentary items if you forgot anything. Overall we were pleased and would recommend it!
"Very comfortable!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The rooms were on the smaller side (it is downtown San Francisco so you can't really hold it against them) but it was very comfortable! The bed was one of the most comfy hotel beds, shower was great, and it had all of the amenities I needed! The gentleman who took the late night shift at the front desk was awesome and amazingly helpful- service is definitely one of their priorities here! Hotel was very very clean, close to everything, and accommodating. I will be back!

Great for the price and location. Will stay again
"They up charge you or everything!!!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
They charge you $55 for parking. They charge for executive happy hour drinks and the stay ends up being way more expensive
"Decent Hotel close to Sights"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
The Rodeway Inn was just fine - especially for the price. The room was clean and comfy. Parking was free and we got a spot. The only two downsides were the breakfast was just wrapped pastries (gross!) and it was right next to a sketchy area of town. Overall though, I'd recommend it - just keep your street smarts about you!
