I was apprehensive based on earlier reviews but jumped on a killer "mobile only deal." Looks like this place cleaned up its act. The atmosphere and service was equivalent to any 4-star place -- free shuttle service and courteous bell hops, Sarah at the bar, pretty nice menu, beautiful high ceilings in the lobby/restaurant. Don't worry too much about the location. Yes the Snow King is at the end of the START Yellow Line, but it's very punctual, and the extra 20 minutes versus staying in Teton Village is WELL worth the money saved.
The front desk service was outstanding! They were able to reassign my sons' room to an upgraded condo connected to mine at no extra cost. After a blizzard closed the local airport they immediately reassigned out rooms, again at no extra cost for the much more expensive rooms. Finally they allowed us a late checkout as we waited for an evening flight.

I was pleasantly surprised. Great location. Old school room, but at that price who cares. I was in Jackson to be outside, not hang in my room. If you're in Jackson to shred, hike, bike, etc then this is great place. If you want room service, nice fixtures, amenities, etc then don't stay here.

The hotel staff were extremely nice and helpful. The location is great for walking downtown, etc. I did NOT like the bathroom/sink set up. The vanity is tiny and has to hold our bathroom supplies (toothbrush, etc.) as well as the tiny coffee pot in the mornings. Also, the fan in the actual bath blows cold air. It has only one switch for the light and that means the cold air blows the entire time the light is on. This is a deal breaker for me. I will NOT stay there again just because of that. When it is 12 degrees outside, you have the room nice and warm and then by the time you get out of the shower it is 30 degrees in the bath!!! No way.
