Jane Hotels

Set along large freeways, yet still surrounded by lush green Missouri countryside and mature trees; Jane is a popular destination for shopping and entertainment in the region. Although it's sparsely populated, with small lodge like homes hiding down country roads, it has excellent facilities, and enjoys a convenient location on the edge of Missouri and Arkansas state lines which makes it a great stop-off point during road trips. However, if you can swing a longer stay then you can explore nearby creeks and country trails, feeling like one of the pioneers who first discovered the abundant wildlife of the area.

Things to see

Huckleberry Ridge Conservation Area to the north of Jane has miles of maintained tracks through the tall trees and thicket, and along the side of creeks. You can enjoy the crunch of burnt orange leaves under your feet in the fall months, or visit during spring when the leaves are dewy and the deer come out to play. There are also more challenging trails for experienced hikers, with steep inclines and unexplored territory which will test your hiking boots to their limit. If you prefer to explore the countryside from behind the wheel then the Rush Springs Ranch is the perfect place to bring your off-road vehicle, with quad bikes and other modified racing vehicles struggling through muddy terrain, over rocks, and splashing through water. There are tracks available for different experience levels, as well as guided horse trails if you want to explore a little further and see some breathtaking mountain views while feeling like a cowboy.
