"mostly good"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
My stay was mostly good. The breakfast was not cooked and the dishes were dirty. I did like the pool. The towels were thick. Will stay again.
"Very nice hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
I stayed in the Tower portion of the hotel, somewhat separated from the other parts of the hotel. It also has a separate front desk. I was given my room keys and neither key worked. I went back to the front desk, where one person was working, waited in line, and was given a new room (mind you I was dragging around my napsack and carry-on). The new room smelled like a they had had a chain smoking tournament in there, even though it was supposedly a non-smoking room. I called down to the front desk and was asked if I could be put on hold; in my one second to answer, I said "briefly". I left it on speaker phone and listened to musak while I did other things for 10 minutes. I decided to let it stay on hold and go down to the front desk again, where again I waited in line, with one guy working behind the desk. When I got to him 15 minutes later, he was very friendly, as he had been each of the other two times. I explained that the new room smelled of cigarette smoke and that I'd need a new room again. He was very apologetic and gave me a very nice upgraded room. While he was getting that together I leaned over to look at his phone. There was a call on hold, flashing. I asked him who was on hold. He said "some guy", and it seemed that he had forgotten there was still someone on hold. I told him, " well, that some guy is me". I did it nicely--I felt bad he was working alone. On the other hand, being put on endless hold is not good customer service, Hilton Anatole.
"Close to all!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
Hotel has lots of character! This is the second time that we have stayed here for our annual business convention.....I am already looking forward to making it a third time next year! I love that it is not "brand new", but an updated "period" hotel. Service was next to superb!
