"Just a block and a half from the beach <3"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 3, 2012
Arrived by Amtrack, which, by the way, is just a short walk to Days Inn, through a good neighborhood. The staff was very accommodating, the room was clean, the bed was comfy. Just across the street is a nice park and the beach and harbor are just a block and a half away! Also, the 1st and last original Sambo's Restaurant is just around the corner, for good food, service and an incredible view! I will be staying at Days Inn when I visit Santa Barbara again.
"Satisfied and will return"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 3, 2012
The room was well maintained, clean, and well appointed. The price was acceptable. The continental breakfast was the weak point with coffe, no juice, and only a modest selection of pastries. That being said, the price is good enough that a short walk to a good cafe will net a good breakfast and still beat the competition.

Upon check in there was no record of my having paid for 2 of my 3 night stay because I had two separate reservations, one booked directly with the Hyatt and the other with Hotels.comThe problem was soon rectified

"First time in Santa Barbara"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 30, 2012
The hotel is old, but still nice. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. We enjoyed the complimentary wine happy hour, and the breakfast was decent. We were about a ten minute walk to the pier and State street, which we didn't mind at all. For the price, I would definitely stay here again.
