Absolutely great hotel. Clean, maintained well, free breakfast, close to everything, but rooms are removed enough to give a feeling of seclusion. Great heated pool and hot tub. Only downside I can think of is that the bed was a little bit soft and somewhat uncomfortable to sleep on. But if you like softer beds then this isn't a problem, I suppose. Would highly, highly, recommend to all friends and family.

We had a great time. We had planned to stay a b & b, which would have been a little nicer in terms of the room, but the location was great and we were on the beach side, third floor and the view was awesome.

The room was small but extraordinarily well accessorized. The staff was very congenial and pleasant. It is a beautiful neighborhood. The room was immaculately clean and well maintained. It is an older facility but the owners have excelled at remodeling and making the most out of the existing structure. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. That will be our first choice of motels if we ever return for another visit to Santa Barbara.

Santa Barbara Inn was friendly, super-comfy and wonderful! The linens were luxurious, the room was tasteful, the continental breakfast was yummy and the breakfast room was open and comfortable. The lack of AC was the only down side as the room got toasty in the afternoon.

This is a must to stay at in Santa Barbara. This was our 4th stay and every time has been very enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. My wife and I were very pleased with the food at Louie's, as well. This was our first time eating on site. Again, a wonderful time just two blocks from State Street what a great wekend!!

My 14 year old booked the room with me at the last minute while driving up from LA. Great value for the money. I would stay there again in a heart beat.
