"Love Raleigh and the Hurricanes!!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
Great hotel to stay at. We were able to walk to the hockey game at PNC Arena and not have to deal with the traffic and parking fees. We must admit, the people there and the traffic and the malls are so awesome. They put our area to shame. The traffic leaving the arena quickly faded out after the game let out because the awesome Raleigh Police Department and NC State Troopers really knew what to do to get traffic flowing quickly and efficiently. The staff at the hotel were very eager and helpful in answering all our questions about the area and specific places we wanted to look for. GREAT TIME, GREAT PLACE, GREAT PEOPLE, WE WILL BE BACK!!!

"Beautifully appointed hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
My girlfriends and I chose to meet up and stay here for a family-free night out. I warned the person checking us in that we may be loud and would probably need to be put somewhere we wouldn't bother anyone. In our almost 18-hour stay here, I never saw or heard anyone on our floor. We chose this hotel because it was new and because of its proximity to Crabtree Valley mall where we went for takeout. We were not disappointed with the design elements of the hotel or its convenience. The staff was super friendly as well. The beds were nice and comfy and we had plenty of towels. The only complaints I have are that our thermostat could not be adjusted below 68 and, because of the frosted glass panel on the door to the bathroom, when someone turns the light on in there, you may as well turn on all of the lamps in the sleeping area because of all of the light it lets through. When you have 4 women of a certain age sharing a space, these things are important in maintaining a certain level of comfort. Also, considering the direction the room was facing, by morning when the sun was beating on the window (even through the blackout curtains), we were quite ready to leave.
