  We were pleased with the rooms. The staff at the desk for checkin was really polite. I would recommend this place for people to stay.

  The hotel was clean and the staff was great. But the room didn't have a microwave or many fridge. Since the romantic evening was based around small finger foods, some of which needed to be kept cool and some to be kept warm, not have those appliances ruined the food. I guess I should have checked the amenities and noticed the lack of these basics, but I just assumed they were standard in all hotels now-a-days. Guess I was wrong. Great hotel, just a bad experience with no appliances!

  Wonderful stay. Fabulous hotel in great location in downtown Raleigh. So much to do all within walking distance. Even had the Rickshaw rides available right at the hotel. Such a fun getaway.

  My husband and I were only there for one night, but I wished we could stay longer. The room was very comfortable, and the location was just a block away from the main road so it was quiet. Breakfast was wonderful. If we need to stay in Raleigh in the future, Residence Inn will be our first choice!
