"The bed makes the hotel"

The Vagabond is across the street from the Holiday Inn Capitol Plaza and it is easily $100 cheaper and honestly a better deal. The bed makes this hotel and makes up for the spartan accommodations. The free breakfast is a plus. When I go I travel for business so I want a comfortable place to sleep.
"Excellent first time at a Residence Inn"

We stayed for very enjoyable one night at the Residence Inn in Sacramento, CA. The check in experience was cordial, with no delay in obtaining our room at 11:30 am. The room was spacious and very quiet. Bed and especially pillows were quite comfortable. Breakfast was tasty, with good variety (arrive on the early side to get everything).
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Beakfast was great. The location was great. I found the two biggest drawbacks were: 1) My room was facing the street and you could hear all the noise from it 2) The fan in the room was extremely loud and very hard to sleep with it on.
"Glad to find a hotel in this neighborhood"

Besides the hospital, this is an up-and-coming neighborhood in Sacramento. Many of my friends have moved here in recent years and it was great to have a nice, affordable hotel in the area. The room was very clean well maintained. I had a nice balcony that I wish I had taken better advantage of. My biggest issue was that the whole hotel smells like some sort of bath and body works plug-in. It was very overwhelming and unpleasant.

The personnel were pleasant, the room was small, cozy, clean & neat. The hotel has an enclosed atrium for meeting with friends or business aquaintances. The continental breakfast was typical and the food was fresh. We wished we could have spent more than one night. We had dinner at PRONTOS down the street. It was very good. The neighborhood appears to be in a process of reconstruction. We felt safe and comfortable in the hotel. I wish the flat screen TV was hung on a wall rather than setting on a short piece of furniture. But that is the only suggestion I would have.
