We were pleased, but, would like company to provide hand towels, not just large bath towels.

This hotel had wonderful service. They attended to every need. They anticipated and had available everything before having to ask. They also quickly and attentively fulfilled a couple that made my stay extraordinary. I would recommend it to anyone.
"Great at most areas, average in a couple"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
In order for this site to get a 5 it will need major investment in lobby, restaurant, overall ambiance. It has a quirky art taste - with children's murals or something and cant get a higher end resort vibe going. The room cleanliness and service was excellent all around. Location excellent - Taxis easy to get as well as excellent bellhop and valet service. Rate in $109 range excellent.

"High Standard but missing a few things"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
The Hilton Garden Inn Sacramento was a comfortable hotel. The breakfast was the same fast food, large prep meals you would get at any other hotel for Free. The bed felt as if you were laying on a piece of foam on ply wood, i think it was just worn out. The "Guarantee" was posted everywhere but since I paid through Hotels.Com, I doubted their commitment to not charge me for the poor quality bed. The appearance, cleanliness of the hotel and our room was excellent and quiet neighborhood was very nice and the staff was attentive and friendly.
"Great property"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
Spent only one night.Hotel was not too far from highway 49.I took the time to visit the Gold Mining towns of Green Valley, Nevada City and Coloma. I then continued on for a ski week at Tahoe.
"Good accommodation but spartan"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013

"Good room for a night"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 25, 2013
I booked this hotel since I had a conference in Sacramento. Sleep number beds were amazing and very comfortable. Room set up a little different but I loved it.
"The bed makes the hotel"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 25, 2013
The Vagabond is across the street from the Holiday Inn Capitol Plaza and it is easily $100 cheaper and honestly a better deal. The bed makes this hotel and makes up for the spartan accommodations. The free breakfast is a plus. When I go I travel for business so I want a comfortable place to sleep.
"Great Stay 4 The Pay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 23, 2013
As a graduate student every penny counts especially if you're unemployed. The EconoLodge was $64 for a queen and $74 for a double and I stayed in both in two days. It is located .62 miles away from the Sacramento Convention Center which was walking distance, so I did not to pay for parking. The owners were kind enough to print out two maps for two places I needed to go to and on the second day they allowed me to leave my car parked there after checkout into the evening. The irony is that I stayed there the year before in the same room. This was an exceptional experience. The rooms were clean, there was cable tv and there was free Internet. Thank you
