"Great Stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 25, 2013
Resort is finishing up a major renovation. That being said barely noticied the workers. Resort is directly on the beach, watched 2 sunrises. Pool area is well equiped with plenty of chairs, and childrens activities. Even had a live band play for several hours on Friday afternoon.

"Relaxing, quiet, natural setting lovely sunsets to"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 17, 2013
Clean room fairly updated and friendly service. Complementary breakfast, bikes and beach chairs & towels for pool and beach use. Steps from beach filled with shells and shore birds, not umbrellas and crowds of people. Close to J.N. Ding Darling Refuge and bike paths. We ate at two restaurants suggested by owner "Doc Fords" and "The Timbers" both were very good and reasonably priced. Only regret, not having a gulf view room!

"On the beach"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 19, 2012
Great location if looking for beach access. Must go off-island if looking for serious shopping and most restaurants - $6 toll each time you enter the island. If you're planning to get groceries, eat mostly in the condo and spend lots of beach time, it's great ! Also, lots of nature preserves on the island. Have bikes for rent - miles of bike trails; tennis courts. Cleanliness very good, but some rooms in the condo in need of rennovation. Well kept overall for being older buildings.
