The proximity of Gaithersburg to Washington DC allows travelers to fly into three airports: Baltimore Washington Airport, Reagan National Airport, or Dulles International Airport. The Maryland Train System has three stations in Gaithersburg, and the DC Metro’s Shady Grove station is the terminus of its Red Line.
