Eagle County Regional Airport is the town’s nearest gateway, situated just 22 miles away. It provides a good handful of seasonal connections, with flights to major hubs including Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International, Chicago O’Hare International, Dallas/Fort Worth International, and Denver International too. Alternatively you can land at Denver, rent a car a drive in. The journey into Edwards usually takes about 2 hours along Interstate 70, and the route is breathtakingly scenic. If you’re not renting a car and need to get about the Vail Valley, either a taxi or the ECO Transit System bus can shuttle you between Vail, Beaver Creek, Avon, and Cordillera.
