Will use the hotel again. Internet access in the lobby was not working.

"Great"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 22, 2013
Everything was great at Windsor Inn, except the showers. The hot water did not work well so you had a trickle of hot water coming out of the shower nozzle.

I stayed five nights on business. You cannot beat the location and for the price it is well worth it. The hotel is aged but clean and staff is accomodating. If you want luxuary look elsewhere. If you want a room with good location then this is the place.
"Overnight stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 19, 2013
From having read the previous guests' reviews I wasn't sure what to expect, but the price was right and especially for 1 night. The cleanliness was excellent and as good, if not better, than some high-end chains. The only complaint was the bed was a little too hard. I had reserved a room with a queen bed, but was given one with a king bed and sitting area. I would definitely stay at the Channel Inn again and would recommend it to others. The Pier 7 restaurant was also very nice and the food was fair.
"Would stay here again... good location, good price"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 13, 2013
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. There is not much for amenities, (although the complimentary continental bkfst was nice; bagels, croissants and muffins with coffee, tea and juice ). There is free wifi, although it didn't seem to work very well in our room. They have computers near the lobby - just ask the front desk for their password. The room was clean and the shower was VERY hot, although not much strength in the water flow. The bed was comfortable enough. The best part for us was the location. An easy walk to the Adams Morgan area for eats and entertainment, and a few blocks walk from the Metro to get to central DC. We would recommend this, and we would not think twice about staying here again.
