"close to must see sights"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
I really enjoyed my stay at Courtyard Washington. I was in town for the Washington Wizards game. The location was very convient. The Verizon Center was very close and all the must see sights were within walking distance. After i checked out of my room, i spoke with the concierge named Sean. I let him know that i wanted to do some sight seeing before i headed to the airport. He was very helpful and very friendly! I gave me 2 maps, and marked out a path for me to walk to see all the sights i wanted to see. He also arranged a driver to take me to the airport. My room was very comforatble as well. And the breakfast was good. If I ever visit Washington again, i will stay at the Courtyard again!
"Exceptional in every way"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
This hotel is among the finest experiences we have ever had. Every person we encountered was of high professional quality and helpfulness. The rooms were very large and clean. The lobby is a dream. The food at the restaurant was outstanding, and the location was close to everything we wanted to see and do. I highly recommend and will return each time we visit our daughter who is a student at the University nearby.

"Different than anticipated."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
We arrived in town around 1am and it was scary. There's a club directly across the street and people and cop cars were everywhere. We were a little apprehensive on staying but went ahead being that our room was already paid for. I had to get out of my vehicle to get the valet and thought b/c it was so late he wouldn't be outside but that was the norm. We had to get out and get the valet every time. Once inside our perception changed a little. The concierge was nice and our room was nice, the bathrooms were okay. It wasn't so scary the next day but I didn't want to caught out at night. The homeless were everywhere and it seemed a little unsafe and uncomfortable. The Watershed restaurant was okay (but okay for drinks) but didn't have everything that was on the online menu.

The hotel was very good. I am however disappointed with hotel.com due to the fact that breakfast for two was supposed to be included and I was charged for it.
