Like another reveiwer wrote; this hotel is a step back in time. The owners have been able to preserve a hotel from the 70's with little modern flare. Besides that the hotel and the room were clean, tidy and comfortable. A/C was nice and cold and shower had great water pressure and temperature. I would stay again the next time I am in the area. Once you get over the initial shock of the place everything is fine.

When making my reservations I specifically asked for a downstairs room as my husband cannot climb stairs. No note was made of this on my reservation but the hotel manager very graciously gave us two rooms with no extra charge since he did not have a double room downstairs. I was very impressed and appreciated his concern for us.

The hotel management was very, very nice. The room could have been just a little cleaner but overall the only complaint was noise from other patrons. I'd stay again.

Everything there was great the only thing that irritated me was I had to stand in the cold to check in. Since I didn't arrive till late they had the doors locked. So needless to say I was freezing for 10 min. But other than that everything was great
