How to get to New Braunfels

New Braunfels is served by 2 large airports, San Antonio International and Austin-Bergstrom International, located 26 and 51 miles away respectively. Once you’ve landed getting into the city can be done via taxi or private shuttle, both of which you’ll find in abundance at the airport. For those traveling from within the United States, the area is also reachable via the Amtrak railway service. Just 15 miles north of New Braunfels, the city of San Marcos is home to the region’s Amtrak station.
