Overall we were very pleased with our stay...the staff were great and very helpful!! Rooms were very basic but we were still comfortable. We missed having a fridge in our room but we survived :) Location in Downtown Des Moines is excellent especially for the rate we got!

We were there for the spa and pool. The spa was about 4 inches low on water so it did not filter and circulate correctly the water was cloudy. the pool was spotless.but the water temp was the same as the spa. there was no way you could swim in that heat. when you did try to put your face in the water it was very salty. way too much urine in the water. When service personel test the water they should grab a handfull and taste it I sure do when I jump in it. I told the desk and she said it was not her job. I told her she needed to tell someone to check it out. It was too late for me but the next victum might like it a lot better
