"All the necessities, none of the extras"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
Good location - not too far from anything. The rooms are a decent size and clean, but sparsely decorated. Bed is comfortable. They need mirrors in the room - only mirror is in the bathroom and you couldn't see past your waste. Also, it would be helpful to have a door stop to keep the bathroom door open after showering since there's only 1 mirror. Had to ask for extra towels, etc. since only two towels provided per day, even with two guests. Staff was very nice. Great stop for 1 or 2 nights, but 5 nights were too much with too few comforts.

"Perfect Pick"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 24, 2013
The Richmond is an older hotel that is very well kept. It had everything we needed for our long weekend stay. We didn't have a car and didn't even need one. There is plenty within walking distance. The hotel staff was very friendly and most importantly the hotel was immaculate. I would not hesitate to book this hotel again if we travel back to the Miami Beach area.

"Exceptional hotel and location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 24, 2013
Our stay at the Hotel Astor was exceptional. It was as described in the listing. Very clean, very quiet, helpful staff, great location, reasonably priced. We would definitely stay there again.

"Just perfect"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 24, 2013
Checked in late. Accommodated me without any questions. Suites are clean and big. Again just a perfect spot. Lets just hope it does NOT become a SoBe hotel.

"IT'S NICER ON THE BAY"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
Mondrian is still the best. I use it for both business and leisure travel. The Bayside location puts me right in the heart of south beach without having the heavy foot traffic of say Collins or Ocean. The rooms are cooler than me! Easy, comfortable furniture, contemporary without being cold. I'd recommend this to anyone, any time.
