  The desk clerk when we arrived was outstanding (a recent grad of Cal Poly). Promptly brought us a needed roll-away bed and extra blankets, and gave good info about the Farmer's Market and the town. The room was fine - small, but clean. Only real negatives - the heater was huge and noisy, the wall around the heater in the bathroom was coming apart, and the shower head was defective and too low. Didn't check out the pool or spa. It was fine for an overnight visit to Cal Poly.

  My daughter and I needed a convenient overnight place to stay with her infant while visiting family in SLO. We had a late check-in, comfy beds, the requisite fridge and microwave, and an easy access first floor room in the back away from the main road. Worked out extremely well for us.

  The hotel was what I expected as I read the reviews prior to booking. The for low price, I felt the hotel and room were clean and adequate for our needs. We were only sleeping over one night and probably saved $100 from the nicer nearby hotels. The freeway access was convenient along with nearby stores. We ate breakfast at Margie's diner next door with our discount coupon provided by the hotel. Overall, I liked the place and would stay there again.

  Comfortable. Good value, but basic. Bring your own pillow and comforter if driving.
