"Cheap"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 21, 2013
We traveled down from Michigan (13 hour drive to Myrtle Beach) all day Saturday. We didn't arrive in M.B until close to midnight and simply needed a cheap place to crash before beginning our vacation at an oceanfront resort. Service here is awful, I asked for a toothbrush and hairdryer and was hastily informed they weren't available. Really?! A hotel without complimentary toothbrushes? Overall, cheap place to lay your head before heading on to a nice hotel.

"Romance in the winter!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
The room was spacious and laid out nicely. I was a bit disappointed with the communication at the front desk in that they could have explained a couple of key issues a little better. But that is a personnel issue and a small one at that. On my next visit I will ask for an oceanfront room. This trip I didn't because I assumed they were all oceanfront rooms. This was, of course, my mistake. The cursory breakfast was nice. The food was fresh and presented in an appealing manner. The only other issue is the price. Based on other similar hotels/motels during the same weekend, I discovered the fee to be a touch out of line. Everything considered, on a 5 star system I would issue a 3.5. With just a few adjustments, this could be an easy 4.5 accommodation.

The condo was very nice, clean and comfortable. The only problem we had was that when we booked the room, it said that there was an indoor pool. We even spoke to people with the rental company to confirm our reservation prior to checking in. However, when we checked in we were told that the condo we were staying in did not have access to an indoor pool. That was one of the amenities we were looking for since we were traveling in the winter with small children. So that would have been good information to know prior to booking, that not all the condos have access to all of the amenities listed. That should be listed somewhere. We would have rented something else if we had known that. But overall the condo itself was fine.
