"Conveniently located"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 19, 2013
This is a very inexpensive place to stay, but clean. It's an older place and we thought it was supposed to have a pool and whirlpool, but didn't. Staff was friendly. Bathroom was outdated and needed some cosmetic work. Too much furniture for the size of the room. Close to Happy Chef and easy access.
"Comfort Inn lives up to its name"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Dec 3, 2012
We live in central Wisconsin and were in Mankato for a company Christmas party. One night lodging was furnished by our employer at a high end motel. We opted to come early and spend a couple days in Mankato to go antiquing in the area so it was up to us to find lodging on our own for two of the nights we were in Mankato. We chose to stay at the Comfort Inn because of the lower cost and it was in the same vicinity as the higher end motel being supplied by my employer (right across the parking lot). Our stay two night stay at the Comfort Inn was much quieter, had great breakfast offerings, rooms were comfortable/clean, larger screen tv than high end competitor, and friendly staff offering assistance and courtesy calls to room to make sure everything was satisfactory. It was a wonderful stay at the Comfort Inn. Will return and recommend to friends.
