"Great staff and breakfast- disgusting bed"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 16, 2013
The staff was excellent and accomodating and the breakfast was well maintained. However...there were nasty markings all over the bed! And the top cover quilt was a dark color so you could see little white smears everywhere. Other than that, the rest of the room was clean and there were lots of TV channels and plenty of tea, coffee, etc.

"Had to check on mom"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jan 20, 2013
Lovely stay but we did have to hunt down coffee each day - they only left decaf in the room and one day the maids forgot to come by.

"Easy to get to is best part"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 26, 2012
This hotel was incredibly easy to find and was very easy to get to via US 220. The interior of the room, though, needs help. We got an "oversized room" and it was really big for a bed, dresser, side tables, and a tiny desk. There were no pictures on the walls, the carpet was old and the wallpaper terribly outdated. My husband commented on the fact that there wasn't a vent fan for the bathroom (which was huge! Tub/Shower combo AND a separate shower). We could see mold at the seams of the wallpaper. No telling what's behind it. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were fluffy, if not tiny. (Not sure why Quality Inn is using them. They're only half the size of standard pillows, yet the cleaning crew uses the standard cases folded and tucked inside. Weird.) The steak house next door was packed on a Thanksgiving Saturday, but the food was excellent.
"Pleasantly surprised"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 14, 2012
I was so surprised as to how nice everything was, including the very helpful staff. Everything was really wonderful and I will be returning to this hotel when I come to Roanoke, Virginia again.
