I decided to stay in Cambridge which is just outside the city of Boston proper. It's was a short drive so it wasn't an inconvenience at all. Metered street parking was easy enough to find when we traveled into Boston. Overnight self-parking at The Marlowe is $20 for 24 hours and just underneath the hotel itself as part of the Galleria Mall (which means there's shopping and a couple of chain restaurants within a stone's throw). Valet is slightly higher, $24 I think. The hotel is beautiful. The room was immaculate. The staff couldn't be more helpful. And there was a goldfish at the front desk. We didn't eat at the restaurant but after a late night of sight-seeing without having eaten dinner, we ordered room service. The overnight menu is limited but who needs a T-bone at 3 am? Will absolutely stay here again.”
