  The staff was helpful as our room key didn't work twice so they upgraded our room - which was nice.

  We found the rooms comfortable but the halls were rather worn and shabby. Everything else was good.

  The hotel is just off freeway (after 1 u-turn if northbound).Pet friendly,clean room,nice staff,good stay - 1 nite. The area has a large homeless population, but security did a good job and felt secure while on hotel property, off hotel property a bit "scetchy". La Quinta and staff did a good job. Hotels .com on the other hand...misquoted mileage from hotel to Taft. Which, (after two round trips) cost me time / money! Next time I'll stay in Taft. Note to self; don't trust mileage quoted by "brokers" verify before booking room, how far from hotel to event. Save time and $ !

  Rooms nicely furnished with mico, fridge which is nice. Great price.

  Room is clean and large, comfortable. But when check in the service counter asked me to sign a deposit receipt, but it was not my credit card number on it, very scary and weird. And for the room, I can hear the people talking and coughing in the next room near us, made my bf and I dare not to talk loud in the room.... Well, it is clean and nice, but i will not stay there again....

  From the time we checked in until our stay was over it was very nice, the person at the front desk and the rest of the staff were very helpful, I would recommend staying there.
