The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center allows you to get up close to some of the exciting wildlife native to Yellowstone, from furry grizzly bears to majestic bald-eagles, and there is a full program of fascinating talks and demonstrations. Yellowstone Big Gun Fun is an indoor shooting gallery where anyone over the age of 8 can try out a wide range of pistols, rifles, and machine guns in a safe environment. In the evenings, you can spot the Playmill Theatre from the neon windmill lit out front. This small airport has car rental desks, and it’s also possible to book a local taxi or private shuttle to your destination. There’s also the Salt Lake City Express coach service, running from Utah to the park with several stops along the way. Although there is no public transport to the area, there are plenty of tour buses that pass through and it’s often possible to create your own schedule.
