First, if you are expecting a 4 star when staying at a 2 star hotel, you're going to rate these types of hotels low. I don't understand some of the reviews that evaluate it based on a high end Marriott or something. Based on the rate and our expectations, it was great! Our room was clean and roomy (1 king bed, desk, sofa chair) and the breakfast provided many options as a continental breakfast - flavored oatmeals, a few cold cereal choices, orange juice, pastries, toast, etc., along with a surprising favorite for me - hot chocolate! Staff was kind and helpful (but we don't ask for much). We were right by the elevator but never heard any noise. The hotel is located right near the Salt Palace and heart of Salt Lake. Because I'm the type of person that looks for a nice hotel at a great price, I would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

It was close to the airport. I could've parked the next morning at the airport but, this was less expensive and I didn't have to drive in a snow storm and, I got a healthy little breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and the price was painful. I recommend this hotel with 5 stars.

The management was great to work with and even rearranged rooms so I could stay next to a friend. I would definitely stay there again. The only concern I had was that my room smelled like smoke even though it was non-smoking. I didn't ask for a different room because of their effort to have my room next to my friend.
