  The hotel is convenient if you're in South Bend for an activity at Notre Dame. There is not room service, but breakfast is included. You definitely get more than what you pay for.

  I was in South Bend at the convention center during the day for a business meeting. I stayed at the Doubletree as it was right across the street and connected to the center and I was meeting friends for the evening and next day. The hotel was quiet, the staff friendly and answered all of my questions with a smile. The restaurant in the hotel was wonderful with a good selection of food at a reasonable price. Downtown was close and within walking distance. The campus of Notre Dame is not close to this hotel. You would need a car to get there.

  The place had all that you needed and was comfortable and clean. The room was bigger then average, free internet and had a free breakfast. Other people we know stayed at the same time also in South Bend and payed 2x as much and did not get anything better. I will stay here again.

  Great stay after my flight was delayed into South Bend. Girl at the front desk was very helpful and it newly remodeled, very nice and clean.
