"Revamp done right!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
This was our first time staying at the Park Vista in a long time, and we were pleased to see the renovations and updates. The modernization of the rooms - decor, colors, amenities - and the pool area were our favorite parts. There was a bit of confusion with checking in (the front desk clerk was new or not used to the role) but that was taken care of swiftly and pleasantly by the manager on duty. Room service was delicious, and we had a cozy couple of glasses of wine at the outdoor fire pit - lovely!

"Great spot!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 26, 2013
This hotel is in the perfect spot for those who want to be able to walk out their door and into the heart of Gatlinburg. The only knock is there is no wifi in the tower section of the property.

Overall River Terrace was nice. Great location-loved being on the river. We enjoyed the fireplace. Only complaints are the rooms were a little outdated & our commode rocked. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.
"nice place for a small stay"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 22, 2013
the room was nice and we loved the fireplace in the room and the balcony overlooking the water. staff was friendly. only negative was they ran out of milk and juice at the breakfast so there was food but nothing to drink BOTH MORNINGS so I guess they only keep 1 gallon of each so if you don't get there early, your out of luck!

The hotel was overall good. It's the first time that we have stayed there since 2000 and the hotel has not changed. The rooms are out of date. The best thing about the hotel is the pool! We will stay there again because of it. The pool was awesome!!!!!!
"Wintertime getaway close to national park"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Feb 20, 2013
This was a nice wintertime getaway. Close to Ober Gatlinburg ski resort and Smoky Mountain National Park. Hotel is old but clean and convenient to downtown Gatlinburg and hiking trails.
